Family-specific questions

Does a ball bushing order include post and cage?

Confirm scope: some lines supply the bushing body only; cage and post may be separate matched items.

How does a ball bushing differ from a plain bushing?

Ball types use rolling contact—generally lower friction and heat; plain types slide on surfaces and can be simpler. They are not interchangeable by OD alone; match the whole guide system.

Are ball bushings for injection or stamping molds?

Both when repeated opening/closing or reciprocating guidance needs low friction and alignment—the critical part is matching size, load, speed and the guide system to the tool.
